[мошенник] What is DDoS Service?
A DDoS Service is actually providing an online attack. DDoS means a Distributed Denial of Service, which means that a server or a webpage is not available to share it\'s contents because it is overflown with information. The result of this is that a website is Taken Down and not available. This is basically a Cyber Attack and is also a very big problem nowadays.
How it works
There are many variations of a DDoS attack and the service is also provided usually in many forms.
In the past this was usually only achievable by having botnets containing thousands of zombie / infected computers
and letting them attack a website,
ip or server all at the same time so it gets floaded and even crash. In some attacks tens of thousands of these
zombie computers were used.
Nowadays this differs. Mostly big servers are used at tactically good positioned datacenters. On these big servers
that have a good connectivity there are scripts placed that will perform the DDoS attack. In this case just a few of
these servers are enough to take down big servers and websites.
Many attacking forms exists and each of them have another special way to either flood and DDoS the websites
with packets and information. In some cases there is even hardware damage and not much information is needed.
These are various famous attacking types, but not all:
SSYN
HTTP POST/GET/HEAD
Slowloris
UDP
Bandwidth Drain
Why DDoS Service?
People and companies buy DDoS Service very often. Even big global companies and multinationals buy this service,
but it is only hidden and not told to anyone. Sometimes DDoS Service is used for demonstration, testing or
serverstressing goals.
But usually it is used by companies and individuals to take down competitors.
This could go anywhere when eliminating competitors. When websites are taken down the own profit increases.
Usually this type of websites and servers are taken down:
Large websites and forums.
Game servers
If DDoS Service is provided, it is usually calculated per hour, or in full packets. It is not a cheap service
as there is some risk in it, because in most countries this is illegal. Also the servercosts and bandwidth used for
the attacks are expensive and must be paid for. There are some professionals in this business that take big orders fully
anonymously and take down websites for weeks or even months.
A DDos Service costs anywhere from $5 per hour up to $25 per hour depending how big and risky the websites are.
DDoS Protection?
Because of DDoS Services, some websites and businesses go down and lose alot of money and even go bankrupt.
DDoS Protection is a booming business. Unfortunately it is very expensive to get some decent protection.
Buying a decent 5 Gbps protection could already cost towards $xx,xxx per month, not calculating the startup and
installing price!
